The product has no storage limitations if correctly stored.

Storage conditions

Store in original intact packaging in a cool, dry environment, protected from frost, humidity, and direct exposure to sunlight.

Theoretical consumption

~ 1.1 m of tape for every linear meter of joint, considering an overlap between the edges of approximately 10 cm to ensure the hydraulic continuity of the system.

Yield

~45 linear meters of joint per roll.

Substrate preparation

Application surfaces must be clean, solid, and free of dust, loose parts, oils, or contaminants that could compromise adhesion. The substrate must be thoroughly roughened and prepared to ensure adequate anchoring of the waterproofing system.

Application

Drykos^® Flexstrip 120 must be applied in combination with elastic waterproofing mortars such as Drykos^® Drylastic or Drykos^®Drytop. Proceed by applying a uniform layer of mortar to the substrate, with an adequate thickness and a width greater than that of the tape. The tape is then positioned on the fresh layer and pressed carefully to ensure the complete embedding of the fabric into the applied material. Subsequently, cover the Drykos^® Flexstrip 120 tape with a further layer of the same waterproofing product, ensuring the continuity of the system and the complete sealing of the joint.

Other indications

• Apply the product exclusively to adequately prepared substrates.
• Ensure complete impregnation of the fabric into the waterproofing mortar.
• Ensure the continuity of the system through correct overlapping of the tapes.
• Avoid application in unsuitable environmental conditions (frozen surfaces, presence of free water).

Safety

The product is classified as an article and, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 (REACH), does not require the preparation of a Safety Data Sheet. During handling and use, it is nevertheless recommended to use appropriate personal protective equipment, such as gloves and protective goggles, and to comply with the safety procedures established at the workplace.
