Drybond
Multifunctional additive for enhancing the mechanical and adhesion properties of cementitious mixtures for screeds, plasters, and thin-layer leveling compounds

Drybond is a single-component concentrated liquid additive based on special high-performance polymers dispersed in an aqueous vehicle, fully compatible with all types of mineral binders used in the construction industry.
When properly dosed, Drybond significantly improves the technical and performance characteristics of cement-based mortars and mixtures, increasing adhesion, mechanical strength, impermeability, and system elasticity.
The product also contributes to enhanced mixture durability by improving resistance to atmospheric agents and chemical aggressors. It is particularly suitable as an additive for preparing high-adhesion cement slurries.
The action of the polymers contained in Drybond increases resistance to abrasion, cracking, and freeze-thaw cycles, enabling thin-layer applications. The product also reduces surface dusting and the water/binder ratio of mixtures while maintaining workability and promoting proper curing of the cementitious conglomerate.

Storage
12 months from production date.
Storage conditions
Store properly in the original, sealed, intact packaging, protected from frost and direct sunlight exposure, at temperatures between +10°C and +35°C. Higher temperatures may deteriorate the product. Low temperatures may cause partial crystallization of the product; if this occurs, shake the container manually and store in warm environments.

Application info
Substrate preparation
Surfaces to be treated must be solid, cohesive, clean, and free of dust, oils, greases, dirt, residues from previous coatings or surface treatments that could compromise proper adhesion and penetration of the product. Any friable, degraded, or imperfectly adhered parts must be removed prior to application of mortars or mixtures containing Drybond.
Product preparation
Thoroughly homogenize the product by manually shaking the sealed container before use.
Dilute Drybond with clean water according to the dilution ratio indicated in the following table. The water-polymer mixture thus obtained must be used as mixing liquid, adding it gradually to the product to be mixed. The mixture must be blended using a low-speed electric drill for 2–3 minutes until a homogeneous, fluid, lump-free mixture suitable for the intended application is obtained.
Cleaning of tools
Tools are cleaned with water immediately after use.
Other indications
- Do not apply the product on frozen substrates, during thawing, or when there is a risk of frost within 24 hours after application.
- Protect treated surfaces from rapid drying caused by direct sunlight, wind, or high temperatures.
- Use of the product in high dosages may result in delayed setting and hardening times of the cement binder.
- Diluted product must be stored exclusively in the original container, tightly closed, protected from sunlight and heat sources, and used within a maximum of 5 days from dilution.
- The product is susceptible to frost.
- Do not use the product undiluted as a primer or bonding bridge; the product must always be mixed with cement or cement-based mixtures.
- Do not apply at temperatures below +5°C or above +40°C.
